‘Polar Bear Universe’ International Forum

On 25 March 2026, the Hilton ExpoForum in St. Petersburg will host the Grand Opening of the ‘Polar Bear Universe’ International Forum.

The business programme includes a plenary session titled ‘The Polar Constellation: Vectors of Cooperation in the Arctic’, a strategic session titled ‘National Priorities in the Arctic: From Strategy to Action’, and a series of working sessions (‘Sustainable Resource Management’, ‘The Bioecological Arctic Cluster’, ‘A Helping Hand: Arctic Projects of the Presidential Nature Fund’, ‘Business and Biodiversity: A National Platform in Support of Arctic Biodiversity’, and ‘Conservation and Monitoring of the Polar Bear and Arctic Biodiversity’).

A detailed description of the business programme events is available on the website polarbearforum.ru. Speakers and participants can register for the event on the website. An online broadcast of the Forum will be organized for registered participants who are unable to attend the event in person.

The ‘Polar Bear Universe: Joining Forces to Preserve Biodiversity’ International Forum is being held under the auspices of the Nevsky International Ecological Congress, which sets the course for addressing critical environmental issues and shaping pathways for Russia’s sustainable development.

The Nevsky International Ecological Congress is organized by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation. The event operator responsible for its preparation and conduct is the Roscongress Foundation.
